Pepsi And The NFL

December 30, 2016

Pepsi is sponsoring a contest “Win An Unreal NFL Experience”, why would I even consider registering to take part in the contest since its being wrecked by individual players and the NFL think tank thinking to keep the female viewer they need to soften the sport to appeal to the women.

Colin Kapernick, and his idiotic stunt of kneeling during the playing of the national anthem is ludicrous since he grew up literally middle class. Had Collin taken the time to know what he was protesting, he would not have done what he did, but like most pampered sports atheletes they only see the media coverage as the end result, thinking it will make them a house hold name.

The reason that i literally gave up watching pro sports in general happened in 2011 when Sam Hurd was arrested for starting a drug distribution ring, then part of his plea agreement he rolled over on his suppliers and his dealers to get a better deal, he was sentenced to 15 years.

Sam Hurd had bragged about how his college coach had taught him how to set up a drug distribution ring. It was then that I had decided to just give up watching or following any sports teams because the individual players are not in it for the team but just personal self glory over the good of the team.

Now the sports season are just temporary nuisances that are reduced to just a fly flying around my head. I watch netflix, vudu, hulu, amazon, and a very few actual tv shows. Will I try and watch the super bowl, yes but only for the new tv ads being shown.

The NFL rules changes are really stupid, even to watch its painful. To keep it interesting the NFL, the uses its media consulting group to create an image of alleged chaos. I use too listen to the ESPN radio talking heads, i stopped because they have become political and P.C., listening to them has become very painful and i even cancelled my ESPN account because of what they have become. I do not need talking heads to tell me how to think or that my views of situations are either right or wrong.

I saw in the news that ESPN is losing millions of fans and people who pay to have the ESPN premium package all year round. Disney has ruined espn and are on the verge of wrecking the NFL.

As a former fan of pro sports, I want to watch and enjoy the game not get lectured for my incorrect views. I will continue to avoid sports in general because of this stupid desire by the feel good elites to make pro sports into games based on rules little kids play by.

1945

November 11, 2016

During President Truman’s presidency he pushed for his own version of universal health care but the AMA called in socialized medicine it was quickly defeated. Congress in 1945 passed the McCarran-Ferguson Act, which gave the states the right to regulate the health insurance industry in their respective states.

That act allowed the states to establish pre-existing exclusion time lines, it also allowed the states to pick and choose what health insurance companies were allowed to sell health insurance within state boundaries. This act basically established winners and losers in the health insurance industry. Currently health insurance companies are prohibited from selling cross state lines, the walls were established in 1945. The democrats have been trying for single payer health care since President Truman, every act passed by congress when controlled by the Democratic Party has been focused on one goal aka single payer.

Our nation is to diverse and to big for single payer health insurance, because of the larger cities such as New York City and Los Angeles, would use a larger share of a single payer government controlled budget. Health insurance has always been a private industry product purchased by consumers, or the consumers opt to pay the doctors directly for a higher discount.

I experienced direct payments to doctors offices for a few years and noticed that I received a discount due to paying in cash where the doctors billing office had no paperwork to fill out for the insurance company. The McCarran-Ferguson act in effect established monopolies within each state.

The 1974 act and then the 1996 act in an inverse way helped insurance costs to skyrocket, its congress is why the cost of insurance has been going up by preventing the free market to decide the winners and losers or who merges with who. Its time to let the consumers to decide instead of trying to establish single payer, costs would decline if all 1500 insurance companies were allowed to compete in the free market.

Another way to dramatically reduce costs is to limit what lawyers can be paid in malpractice court cases. Costs vary for doctors and nurses depending on their specialty. For an OB/GYN the Premium could be as high as 110,000 a year or more depending on the state they practice in.

By congressional act all health insurance companies have to carry a reserve to pay for claims and malpractice cases. some insurance companies use the interest off the reserves to pay for other items.

I’m hoping that Trump and congress pass a simple bill allowing all health insurance companies to compete in all 50 states, instead currently each state allows only a few insurance companies to operate within state boundaries, which actually artificially raises costs of premiums and cost of health care with in each state.

This was all done on purpose to eventually allow the democrats to gt single payer for the country, Single Payer nearly became an actual reality had hillary been elected, because that would have been the logical step in order to save the ACA aka obamacare. Obamacare was an illegal law to begin with since it originated in the senate instead of the house.

Harry Reid stripped the original written bill that was in the (HR3962), the affordable healthcare act as it was originally written was stripped of its original bill and became the patient protection and affordable care act. This was an illegal bill because it was a spending bill and all spending bills must originate in the house.

Because Scott Walker had been elected to replace ted kennedy, the democratic party no longer had 60 votes to stop a filibuster, so they used a process called reconciliation that’s used for budget bills only. both of the steps are illegal under the Constitution.

It’s been an illegal law because obama has been illegally funding thru other agencies since congress has refused to fund it. Obama has directed the secretary of the Health and Human Services agency to take the premiums paid and redirect the payments to the health insurance companies so that they do not leave the markets.

The health insurance companies are leaving the markets in each state because the age group they were promised that would purchase insurance are opting to pay the penalty and pay cash directly to their doctors. The insurance companies are experiencing huge losses because the healthy people are opting to pay the no insurance penalty.

If congress passes the bill to allow all 1500 health insurance companies to compete nationwide, they will also allow people to chose cafeteria style health insurance rather than uniform plans that are preset. honestly being as old as I am why do I need to have OB/GYN coverage, or pediatric coverage.

If we get cafeteria style health care plans, I know exactly how mine would be:
major medical
prescription coverage
yearly preventive heath care doctors visits
mental health
dental
eye coverage.
my coverage for this would be 175 a month and 15 for copays

My current coverage is for:
29 items relating to health care for women from the age 13 to 99
34 items relating to health care for children
22 items relating to male health care
no major medical – was told it didn’t conform to the ACA
eye care coverage
prescription coverage
total cost is 980 a month for the premium
co-pays 30 for doctors visits and prescriptions

As I read more, I will re-edit this post……

The Empt Chair

November 2, 2016

The empty chair sometimes sits in a corner, or on the side, the head of the table where people eat meals, even holiday meals as well. The empty chair happens almost daily and I’m just guessing in 1 out of every 5 families to some degree or another. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and just time are when most empty chairs can happen a person just never knows.

Most empty chairs happen because that person has decided to sacrifice his personal private life to enlist and defend this nation and the americans who live here. Families, couples, children and friends and relatives have great pride in that single empty chair at holidays because it reminds them of the sacrifice that that person has chosen to do for family, honor, and the nation.

Other times that an empt chair happens is divorce, relocation, distance, death, anger, and misunderstandings, most times the empty chair just sits up against the wall so that its out of the way, it shouldnt be banished to never to be seen that empty chair had an individual sitting in it for years at one time, its part of a person or families life.

Holidays are the hardest for the empty chair because it reminds people that the person wont be home, instead of letting it be a sad reminder, put a picture at the table where the chair would be and make sure the chair is there as well this year for the holidays.

Howard William Osterkamp has been attributed to the following saying and its true “all gave some;some gave all” this phrase sums it all for anyone who has or had a member in the military or has lost a loved one in the military.

This time of the year is when the empty chair causes the most pain in those who have lost loved ones, instead of dwelling on the sadness focus on the joy and the zest for life that the person had in the empty chair. To really honor that empty chair, focus on that persons ideas for life no matter how crazy the ideas were.

To those that have a family member, relative, friend, lover or future spouse in the military, I tip my hat to you and to the ones who have stepped up to volunteer and set aside their private life takes a great deal of commitment on their part and I salute all of you for supporting them in your own ways. Let the empty chair also be a reason to celebrate instead of sadness.

I have an idea not sure if it will take off, but post pictures of the empty chair with the persons picture on the empty chair doing something or sitting in some place that will make a person smile or even laugh, especially if its a current active military person.

Gun Control

June 23, 2016

I say give them the gun control, but they first must agree to totally enforce all current immigration laws regardless and approve of voter ID cards in all 50 states before gun control is voted on.  I say vote on enforcement of all current legal immigration laws that are on the books and put voter ID into the constitution permantly and stipulate that to get a voter ID card in your state the person must provide a legal drivers license, social security number(to be verified as being a legal social security number based on instant verification) and or a current and valid passport and legal birth certificate, and agree to the voter ID card will have the persons face and right thumb print on the card along with current address.

Then after the voter ID law has been in effect for 6 months and they agree never to challenge the voter ID and never bring up immigration reform again they get tighter gun control laws as long as another mass shooting that is done by another person based on religion then the gun controls go back to the previous levels before their gun controls.

It’s a valid and sane approach to all three issues, they get what they want and the country gets what it needs to be enforced.

Voter ID placed in the constitution with the requirement of the following on the voter ID card: this card is for voting only not a valid ID, a face picture and your right thumb print, and your current address.  The states provide voter ID cards at no cost to the citizens of each state as long as they have a valid drivers license, valid passport and valid security number based on instant check and or a valid birth certificate. Needing 3 of the 4 would be perfect.

Tie gun control to enforcing the current immigration laws on the books and get rid of the notion of anchor babies and tie gun control to voter ID

San Jose, CA

June 5, 2016

Why did the mayor of San Jose order the chief of police to stand down and let Trump rally attendees be assaulted by practicing a guaranteed civil right of association without fear or intimidation.

We all know the mayor supports Hillary but why is he taking away the rights of others because he disagrees with who the speaker was, because he was paid by Clinton and George Soros is my assumption, if they can imply people will be assaulted just for listening to Trump speak. Clinton and George Soros will win by taking the civil rights away of those who disagree with Clinton.

The clintons next move will be to employee the new black panthers and arm them with billy clubs. Freedom of association is in danger by Hillary Clinton.

Freedom of Speech

June 3, 2016

Free speech is under attack again by the party of slavery and illegal immigration, as long as the majority stays silent and toes the line on political correctness and never doubt the veracity of what they say, they will not send in goons to beat up people attending conservative rallies. Since the presidential race to see who will be the standard bearer of each political party, the goons have been sent out to those who hold rallies and speak the words that scare them to their core and that is enforcement of our Countries laws.

The failure to enforce our laws started in the mid 1980’s when the democrats banded together and refused to pass the budget bills for the federal agencies specifically the agency over seeing the border patrol. They took to the airwaves with the complicity of the media, spewing misinformation on the illegals then, about how they were doing the jobs americans wouldn’t do. It was to be just a one time deal that was struck with then president Ronald Reagan, what a shock it was to see them beating the drums on overhauling the immigration laws under George W. Bush in his last two years of his 2nd term.

Then when Obama was elected and people who saw America the same way he did were placed into positions within the department of homeland security and the border patrol started the downward slide of our nations immigrations lasws. Border patrol agents have been fired for speaking out against obams’s policies on illegal immigrants, budgets have been cut or sliced for border patrol posts along the Mexican border so that it severely hinders the border patrol from doing the job of stopping illegals and even drug smuggling.

The American silent majority were not impressed with the GOP approved list of candidates, so two outsiders entered into the GOP party as well, Ben Carson and Donald Trump. True conservatives started to attend their political rallies and neither candidate were going to be P.C., which I just staying on the sidelines thought it was funny as hell watching the democrats and the left wing media tv stations were in histrionics by saying that amongst the illegals were drug runners, murderes and rapists and child rapists. The left wing media talking head shows and the newspapers went on the immediate offense talking about how they should be referred to as undocumented because illegals is such a demeaning name.

The call went out from the Democratic Party for the SEIU goons to harass and attack any citizen attending either of Ben Carson and or Donald Trumps campaigns. The GOP elites of the party tried their best to get the approved politicians to be the ones that republicans would favor and either Ben or Donald would go to the wayside, but what happened was the silent majority woke up and said enough to an approved list of candidates. The silent majority wants a candidate that will attack the democrats candidate based on their political views regardless if they are a female, or male based on ethnicty, religion, sexual preference, or even sexual identity.

Far to long have the silent majority put up with spineless candidates unless they are attacking a rival within the party. Two prime examples of spineless candidates were McCain of Arizona and Romney of Massachusetts were extremely spineless. McCain was the standard bearer because he felt he was entitled to it after being a senator for so many years, and relying on the fact he was a captured air force pilot twisting it into him being a hero. McCain was spineless, because he refused to go after Obama and his political views, I believe McCain was suffering what the media called white guilt. Romney was selected because he wouldn’t offend Obama either by calling Obama out on his political views for fear of being called racist.

Calling a politician out on his or her political views is not racist, it’s politics. Hillary was begain her coronation even before the campaign season began because she was entitled to it for being married to Bill Clinton and her being a woman. Since the approved list of GOP candidates are no longer in the picture and Trump is the last man standing and being able to garner support of the silent majority and not being P.C., which majority of Americans are happy about and is also attacking the media and not being apologetic, the way the media wants our candidates. Is he a true conservative no.

The silent majority is tired of P.C. presidential candidates going up against the Democratic Party chosen, they want a candidate who will attack their politics and their hatred of the constitution and our nation and our laws. What I fear is the democrats hatred of america the start of violent civil unrest by the Democratic Party because it is not beneath them and they have have history of beating people up even those in wheelchairs, and trying to deny the rights of the military personnel serving overseas from voting.

I wrote this after reading about the goons and the illegal goons bought and paid for by the DNC and George Soros to intimidate those who went to Donald Trumps rally in California on 06/02/2016, just for attending people were beaten by mobs paid for by the DNC and George Soros. There will be more goons at the Trump rally in Redding CA, it’s time for the rolling thunder group to help the police protect citizens doing nothing wrong other than exercising their rights of freedom of association and freeDom of speech which the democrats wish to abolish.

I am a constitional conservative, kicked out of both the democratic party and the GOP…..

Memorial Day

May 30, 2016

Memorial Day what does it mean to you, to me it means making a decision to put your private life on hold while you willingly enlist to be part of the military to defend this nation and not being forced into that decision.

There is another part of Memorial Day that the living celebrate in honor of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. We also honors those that are currently serving in our nations military world wide.

“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”

The above oath takes the following takes courage, determination, faith, will and perseverance to keep.  We are not a perfect nation, we are still trying to find our way in this world at one time we had leaders who believed in constitution and the founding of this nation.  We currently have a leader who has no respect for the nation, the constitution or the military but only sees them as a hindrance to his goals.

Out of 320 million U.S. Citizens there are just over 1.4 million citizens enlisted into all 4 branches of the military less than 5% of American citizens are currently active military personnel. I have searched long and hard to find the exact number of Americans that have died while serving active duty and die after retiring from the military, the closest number that I can come to is roughly 58 million soldiers have died since the founding of America as a nation,  while active duty and or have passed away after retiring from the military.

There are many things are said to makeup what a soldier is, me personally I feel it’s the following but it can be any combinations but this is what I see:

integrity, pride, personal convictions, honor, will, sense of duty, faith these are just some that are what goes into the making of a soldier.

Today is the day to honor those who have made the greatest sacrifice while active duty and those who passed away after serving this nation with honor.  Memorial Day is about freedom and what we do with it after being given the gift of freedom by those who willingly gave their lives to protect this nation.  We should remember our past and all the soldiers who have served and are currently serving by deciding what we do now for the future of America.
